TRACCS to Organize 'The Beirut Public Relations Forum' on 28 May 2009 Under The Patronage of H.E. Dr. Tarek Mitri, Minister of Information of Lebanon
As part of its on-going commitment to build and develop the public relations industry and profession across the Middle East and North Africa, Trans-Arabian Creative Communications will be holding The Beirut Public Relations Forum on 28 May 2009 under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Tarek Mitri, Lebanon's Minister of Information. The one day event will be held at the Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel in Beirut and will cover a number of key topics under the overall theme of "Creating Strategic Value". LAU, Institute for Media Training and Research, is the strategic partner of TRACCS for this event.
The one-day Forum which will be conducted in both Arabic and English aims at addressing key strategic issues that are pertinent to the role of public relations in the business and corporate world, while highlighting the fact that the practice of public relations is now playing a vital and leading role in various government and private sector companies. In addition, the Forum will highlight the importance of adopting a strategic approach to public relations and the added value it provides the private, public and NGO sectors alike. It also aims to set the caliber of forums that help the region in training and qualifying the coming generations with the necessary expertise. Discussions will cover "The Value of Public Relations in the Current Financial Situation", "The Role of Stakeholders in Developing the Industry" and "Public Relations and Strategic Thinking".
