Starting his career as a journalist for a top English language newspaper on the Island, Bahraini Ahmed Zainal has had a hand in almost all fields of media and communications. Before joining TRACCS, he spearheaded the Brand and Communications department at one of Bahrain’s top Insurance and Investment companies, leading them into a new era of corporate communications. He still insists that the most powerful days of his life were spent writing where he covered a vast range of topics from youth issues, arts and culture to day to day local issues.
After an extensive training period in TRACCS’s Regional Headquarters in Dubai, he took over as Director of TRACCS Bahrain in the second quarter of 2008, from where he handles all business development and regional requirements for the TRACCS network.
An avid adventurer and traveler, Ahmed has participated in several international youth programs representing the Kingdom of Bahrain. Most notably of which include UNESCO’s renowned annual International Youth Camp in South Korea and most recently, the prominent Ship for World Youth (SWY) program hosted by the Cabinet Office of Japan.
